Approving & Rejecting Sources
When you approve a source, DMARC Busta adds it to your SPF record so emails from that source pass authentication.
How to Approve
- Find the source in the sources table
- Verify it's a legitimate service you use
- Check the "Include in SPF" checkbox or click Approve
- The source is automatically added to your managed SPF record
When to Reject
Reject sources when:
- You don't recognize the sending service
- The source has zero authentication (likely spoofing)
- The IP belongs to residential or suspicious networks
Rejecting Doesn't Block Email
Rejecting a source in DMARC Busta just prevents it from being added to SPF. The actual blocking happens when you upgrade your DMARC policy to quarantine or reject.
