Approving & Rejecting Sources

When you approve a source, DMARC Busta adds it to your SPF record so emails from that source pass authentication.

How to Approve

  1. Find the source in the sources table
  2. Verify it's a legitimate service you use
  3. Check the "Include in SPF" checkbox or click Approve
  4. The source is automatically added to your managed SPF record

When to Reject

Reject sources when:

  • You don't recognize the sending service
  • The source has zero authentication (likely spoofing)
  • The IP belongs to residential or suspicious networks

Rejecting Doesn't Block Email

Rejecting a source in DMARC Busta just prevents it from being added to SPF. The actual blocking happens when you upgrade your DMARC policy to quarantine or reject.
