Pausing & Resuming

Temporarily stopping automation

Pausing and Resuming Autopilot

You can temporarily pause Autopilot without fully disabling it. This is useful when:

  • You're making infrastructure changes
  • You need to manually review recent decisions
  • An anomaly was detected and you want to investigate

How to Pause

  1. Go to the Autopilot page for your domain
  2. Click the Pause button
  3. Autopilot will stop taking automated actions

While Paused

When Autopilot is paused:

  • No new sources will be automatically approved or rejected
  • DMARC progression is suspended
  • Monitoring continues (you'll still see new sources)
  • Previous settings are preserved

How to Resume

  1. Return to the Autopilot page
  2. Click Resume
  3. Automation continues where it left off

How progression is gated

Progression advances only when pass rates justify it. It does not automatically roll back. To revert a change, use one-click rollback from the audit log. On managed plans, we handle rollback for you.
