Investigating New Sources

When new email sources appear, follow this process:

Step 1: Is It Expected?

Ask yourself:

  • Did you add a new email service recently?
  • Did you migrate to a new server?
  • Is this a legitimate business tool?

Step 2: If Expected

  1. Find the source in SPF Management
  2. Verify the service name/IP matches what you expect
  3. Click Approve to add to SPF

Step 3: If NOT Expected

Security Alert

Unexpected sources may indicate unauthorized access. Check Risk Signals and reject sources with zero authentication immediately.
